My Style & Approach

Every milestone session in my Skjetten studio (Oslo area) is calm, baby-led, and focused on simplicity.
I use soft tones, gentle light, and minimal styling to keep all attention on your baby’s personality — pure, timeless, and beautiful.
These sessions are all about your little one — no family portraits are included here.

You can choose to capture your baby at different stages — tummy time, sitting, crawling, standing — and together, they tell the story of a first year full of growth and wonder.

Step Four — Image Selection & Final Gallery

After your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery to view your images.
You’ll select your favorites for editing, and I’ll retouch them with care to preserve their natural beauty.
Your final gallery will include timeless portraits you can print, frame, and cherish for years to come.

Step One — Let’s Connect

We’ll start by chatting about your family — who’s joining, your preferred style (studio or outdoor), and what kind of memories you’d love to capture.

Step Two — Booking & Planning

Once we confirm your session date, you’ll receive both your invoice and contract to sign online.
Your booking is secured once the 1500 NOK non-refundable retainer is paid.
You’ll also receive my Family Session Guide with wardrobe inspiration and location tips.

Step Three — Your Session

Every family session is relaxed and joyful.
I’ll help with posing and direction, but most of the time, I’ll encourage natural interaction — a cuddle, a tickle, a quiet look between you.
If your session is outdoors, we’ll embrace the light and the weather — it’s all part of the magic.

When to Book

It’s best to book early, especially for one-year sessions, to make sure your baby’s birthday timeframe is reserved in my calendar.

Milestone sessions can be booked throughout your baby’s first year — each stage brings something special:

12 months

Standing, first steps, or a birthday session with a cake-smash setup

3–4 months

First smiles and soft eye contact

6–9 months

Sitting up and showing personality
